Keep this fraction chart beside an equivalent-fractions exercise. The existing reference lists familiar fractions and matching values, including one half, thirds, quarters, fifths and sixths.

One US Letter PDF reference table with Fraction and Equivalents columns plus notes. Examples include 1/2 = 2/4 = 3/6 and 1/4 = 2/8 = 3/12.
During a practice session, choose one row and compare the numerator and denominator together. Moving from one half to two quarters doubles both numbers, leaving the amount unchanged. Cover the equivalents column, write one matching fraction on scrap paper, then uncover the chart to check. The table is a reference list, not a picture showing the relative widths of fraction strips.
Use the notes for your own examples
Write a fraction from the current homework in the notes area and build an equivalent value by multiplying both parts by the same number. Keep the chart nearby until the learner can explain the relationship without looking. Do not change only the numerator or only the denominator. For cutting and arranging visual pieces, use a separate fraction-strip activity instead of cutting apart this reference table.
